Artistic Vision
Trained as an artist, Denise Adams has made winegrowing her life’s work, bringing a creative eye and deep sense of purpose to everything she does. Her commitment to Biodynamic farming and traditional winemaking is reflected not only in our wines, but in the thoughtful details that shape each estate, from the architecture and gardens to the label designs.
Cultivated Passions
Denise and her late husband, Stephen, married in the Dordogne and honeymooned in Saint-Émilion, sparking a love for Bordeaux’s Right Bank that led them to acquire Château Fonplégade in 2004, Château L’Enclos in 2007, and ADAMVS the following year. Denise has always valued sustainable family farming, and today she shares that stewardship ethos with her grandson, Connor, as he learns the family’s craft.
Human Terroir
Exceptional wine begins with an extraordinary place, but it is brought to life by people. At ADAMVS, our close-knit team shares a deep commitment to the land and to our craft. That connection runs deep, with members of our team who have cared for this property for more than three decades.
Woman-Led, By Design
ADAMVS, Château Fonplégade, and Château L’Enclos are proudly women-run, shaped by Denise Adams’ vision and the women who lead each estate. That perspective is woven naturally into who we are, from the way we welcome guests to the care and intention behind every detail.
